My name is M. Welcome to my blog. This is my first entry in Blog arena.



I work as a Systems Analyst in my day job. Where I'm at is an in-house IT department. Our area of responsibility is the company's intranet. It's not a small business. We have 10,000 employees spanning across the globe. Each and every employee connects to the intranet to get the information they need to do their jobs. The applications we do are critical. If employees can't find/do what they want, they don't have the information for customers and customers get unhappy. So it's not surprising that we take our business very seriously.



Most of my time is spent working with content publishing systems. I've been through the whole cycle of creating one from scratch (way back in 1999) to working with off the shelf solutions.
